NEW PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP LEVEL
As a result of the interest in the Minnesota National Guard Bass Series
combined with the concerns over not being able to attend the required
pre-tournament meetings on Saturday night, we have added a new Premium
Membership level to the MFBA. The cost of the Premium Membership is $50/year
(current members can upgrade by paying the additional $25). Being a Premium
Member allows you to have someone else represent you at the pre-tournament
meetings.
Here is the new language that will govern this situation:

Each contestant must register in person at the designated site or send a
person who is 16 years of age or older to represent them at the site.
Non-contestants can represent one person; contestants can represent
themselves and one other person. This representative must attend the
pre-tournament meeting to record flights, takeoff time, check-in time,
off-limits areas, size and creel limits, etc. This representative must also
attend the partner draw immediately following the pre-tournament meeting to
receive the contestant’s boat number, meet the contestant’s partner, and
record the partner’s information, phone number and exact location for the
contestant and partner to meet prior to takeoff.

It is mandatory that all contestants or their representatives attend the
pre-tournament meeting that will be held at 7:00 p.m. the day before each
tournament.

Contestants not present or represented for partner pairings will forfeit
their entry fee and not be entered in the tournament.

We hope this new membership level will address the concerns of those anglers
we have already heard from, as well as provide an opportunity for more
anglers to join us.
